PENTECOST VIGIL Our Pentecost Vigil is on Saturday, May 30. This is from 8pm to 10 pm (or later!). This will be live-streamed on YouTube or shared via video conference. Fr Joseph & Ken Julien and some of our altar servers will be leading the prayers. We will have Adoration, a brief repentance service, praise & worship and anointed preaching – all to prepare us for the great outpouring of the Holy Spirit for Pentecost. We will celebrate Pentecost Sunday, May 31, 2020 at 10am (Holy Hour at 9am) . This has always been a grand celebration at St Antoninus. Our 10am Mass will be live-streamed and there will be prayers for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit has no barriers! Alleluia! PENTECOST NOVENA DAY 1 (Friday), MAY 22 Holy Spirit! Lord of Light! From Your clear celestial height, Your pure beaming radiance give! Only one thing is important -- eternal salvation. Only one thing, therefore, is to be feared—sin. Sin is the result of ignorance, weakness, and indifference. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Light, of Strength, and of Love. With His sevenfold gifts He enlightens the mind, strengthens the will, and inflames the heart with love of God. To ensure our salvation we ought to invoke the Divine Spirit daily, for "The Spirit helpeth our infirmity. We know not what we should pray for as we ought. But the Spirit Himself asketh for us.” Prayer.
